In-Plant Quality Control Program

2007 CBC,  2006 UBC, ANSI/TPI

In-Plant Quality Control Procedures

Prior to the assembly of trusses, detailed *inspection sheets are generated by our engineering software and WTCA IN-PLANT QC software. *These inspection sheets include but are not limited to the following information requests:

·        Date, Time, Inspector, Line, Shift, Crew, Job#,  Truss Id, Truss Type (i.e.: Roof), Cq value, Dimensions, Lumber Specs, Plate sizes, Plate embedment, Member to member gap and detailed plate location.

·        Random truss inspections are conducted by one of our QC inspectors using these “inspection sheets”.

·        Inspection frequency is a minimum of 3 trusses per set-up location per shift.

·        Quality control supervision is done separate from production supervision however, some of the same employees are responsible for the overseeing of each.

·        Continental Inspection Agency, LLC inspects and audits the Quality Control, Manufacturing Process and completed Trusses on a regular basis of TrusPro, Inc. under 2007 CBC guidelines and requirements.

This is merely a snapshot of the Quality Control Procedures we have in place.

We go to great lengths to ensure that each and every one of your trusses will be of the highest quality.
